dGi’s own Dj Rashida and the Legendary Busy Bee rocked out Thursday night at Fred Segal for Vans Vault pop-up shop.
The store pop up will be open until the end of the year, each month receiving new and exclusive product.

Kanye West G-Shock Performance
Yesterday G-Shock celebrated their 25th anniversary with a big event at Cipriani’s downtown (Wall st). During his hour long set he performed classics such as “Flashing Lights”, “Stronger” and “Get Em High”. Above is his verse from Jay-Z’s new single ”Run This Town”.
Lykke Li & The Roots - DIESEL U-MUSIC at Webster Hall

DJ Rashida - Summer Sonic 09
Next Saturday (August 8th) Rashida is spinning in Tokyo, at the 10th annual Summer Sonic music festival. Some of the other acts scheduled to perform are: Beyonce, NeYo, Lady Gaga, The Temper Trap and Grizzly Bear. Definitely worth a vist. The festivities run the whole weekend starting on Friday morning (7th) until Sunday evening (9th).

ADIDAS FANATIC8 Winners!
Saturday (July 25th) was a big day for the company. Our team dGi Dillingers ended up winning the FANATIC8-tournament, beating the favorites Bowery United in the final. Besides the big win the day was a big success; Adidas, Heineken and all of the sponsors made sure that everyone who came out to support had a great day in the sun with music, beer and food. Special thanks to coach Yoni Goldberg.

NYC Diesel UMusic Radio
Yesterday was a big day for some of our DJ’s. Mel, Cassidy, Ruckus and Berrie all took turns playing at the new Diesel store on 5th avenue and 54th st. Mel kicked it off with a nice blend of popular bangers before Cassidy picked it up with hyped up energy. Ruckus played a nice set of club-favorites and threw in plenty of scratching before Berrie closed the evening with a much appreciated house-electro set.
DJ Rashida’s Birthday Party
On Sunday (July 12th) it was time for Rashida’s birthday party at Bar Marmont in L.A. She usually spins there on Sunday’s but this night was all about celebrating and hanging out with her guests which included Solange Knowles, Fonzworth Bentley and Beyonce to name a few.
DJ Cassidy’s Birthday Party
On wednesday night (July 8th) our very own Dj Cassidy celebrated his 28th birthday at the NY Public Library. The party was a big success and it most definitely lived up to the hype. With performances by Rakim and Bobby Brown and guests like Jay-z, Nas, Estelle, Maxwell, Doug E. Fresh, Kat DeLuna and dj-sets by Ruckus and Funkmaster Flex it’s no wonder the party was a hit.

This saturday, May 9th, Blue & Cream is hosting a Hamptons 2009 kick-off to celebrate the release of Oneal McKnight’s Pre-Prom Mixtape. Hosted by Dj Cassidy and Jus Ske.

This past Saturday (April 11) BLVD hosted the SOUL SLAM event where Dj Rashida played a heavy set of Prince-classics and Dj Spin provided the Michael Jackson-tunes.
Paper Mag - Beautiful People 2009
PAPER Magazine, with sponsorship from H&M, celebrated their Beautiful People 2009 issue yesterday. HIRO was the venue and it was completely packed with clubbers, hipsters and magazine-enthusiasts who all danced to the sounds of DJ Cassidy. He provided the perfect mood for Katy Perry’s later performance where she performed her hits “Hot N Cold” and “I Kissed A Girl”. Notable guests were Kat DeLuna, Kid Cudi, Lady Sovereign, Matt Creed, Debbie Harry and Lydia Hearst.
DJ Cassidy @ Heineken Red Star Soul Tour
Tomorrow, August 6th, the third annual Heineken Red Star Soul Tour will begin at Boulevard3 in Los Angeles. The Heineken Red Star Soul is a concert series featuring some of today’s best R&B and Soul artists. Some of this year’s artists include Ashanti, Raheem Devaughn, Estelle, Chrisette Michelle, Musiq Soulchild, Keyshia Cole, and DJ Cassidy, who will be performing in Los Angeles at Boulevard3 and in New York City, at Mansion. Wetherby + Manik = The Good Life!
Last night, in New York, Milk Studio was filled with eager viewers to pay homage to Craig Wetherby’s Manik Art Exhibit “The Good Life!”. Wetherby, a self taught photographer with a unique style, has shot some of the most respected musicians, entertainers, artists and athletes. The exhibition, which began May 2008 in Seattle, will travel until December 2008, visiting cities such as Tokyo, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Los Angeles and San Francisco. Featured are iconic images of HR Bad Brains, Ricky Powell, Prince Paul, Slick Rick, Ghostface Killah, Method Man, Nas and many more. In collaboration with Manik, a skateboard company, Wetherby has created a series of skateboards, sweatshirts, t-shirts and New Era fitted caps with his images silk screened and printed on them. This exhibition is definitely worth checking out...

NaS “Untitled” Album Release Party
